Plastic Pallet

Plastic Pallet is a standardized platform used in international logistics for carrying, stacking, and transporting goods. It is typically made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), featuring corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, light weight, and recyclability. Compared with wooden pallets, plastic pallets require no fumigation treatment and comply with ISPM 15 standards, allowing direct export to countries such as Europe and the United States that have strict quarantine requirements for wooden packaging, thus avoiding customs clearance delays caused by pests. Application scenarios include food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and electronics industries with high hygiene requirements, as well as automated warehouses and cold chain logistics. Precautions: select appropriate load capacity and structure (such as nine-leg, chuazi, or tianzi) based on cargo weight and rack type; pay attention to temperature adaptability to avoid deformation at high temperatures or brittleness at low temperatures; although the unit price is higher, the service life is long and it can be reused, so the overall cost may be lower. Differences from wooden pallets include no fumigation, moisture resistance, and no nail punctures, but higher initial investment; compared with metal pallets, plastic pallets are lighter and more corrosion-resistant, but have lower load capacity. In foreign trade, 'plastic pallet' is often used as part of the packaging terms, and specifications, material, and load capacity must be clearly stated in the contract.
