Return Address

Return Address refers to the designated address used when customers return goods in foreign trade, usually provided by the seller or supplier. Usage scenarios include: product quality issues, wrong or missing shipments, transport damage, customer refusal, etc., where goods need to be returned. Notes: The return address must be clear down to street, door number, contact person, and phone number to avoid lost returns due to unclear addresses; before returning, confirm with the customer the reason for return, who bears the cost, and the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; the return address may differ from the shipping address, especially when involving overseas warehouses or third-party logistics. The difference from 'Shipping Address': the shipping address is the starting point for outbound goods, while the return address is the endpoint of reverse logistics; unlike a 'warehouse address,' the return address may be a temporary or dedicated handling point. Foreign trade practitioners should specify the return address and return policy in contracts or orders to reduce disputes.
