ISO 8124 is a toy safety standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), officially titled 'Safety of Toys'. It aims to regulate safety requirements for toys including physical and mechanical properties, flammability, and migration of certain elements. The standard mainly applies to toys designed for children under 14 years of age and serves as an important reference for exporting toys to markets such as the EU and the US.
