Payment Allocation refers to the financial operation where the buyer distributes a lump-sum payment to specific orders, invoices, or projects according to agreed proportions or amounts. It is commonly seen in long-term cooperation, combined payments for multiple orders, or advance payment offset scenarios. Usage scenarios include: the buyer makes a one-time payment for multiple orders and needs to clarify the payment status of each order; or the seller receives a payment and allocates the funds to different orders as per the contract to write off accounts receivable. Precautions: Before allocation, confirm the allocation details with the buyer to avoid reconciliation disputes caused by allocation errors; after allocation, promptly update system records and notify relevant departments; if advance payments are involved, note the difference from 'advance payment offset,' which usually refers to using advance payments to offset subsequent goods payments, while allocation emphasizes the distribution of funds among different orders. Difference from 'payment notification': payment notification only informs of the fact of payment, while allocation clarifies the specific destination of funds.
