Order Packing

Order Packing refers to the method and process by which the seller packs the goods according to the specific requirements of the buyer's order in foreign trade. It usually involves details such as packaging materials, dimensions, markings, shipping marks, quantity per package, and packing method, and is a common clause in contracts or letters of credit. Usage scenarios include: the buyer specifies special packaging in the order (such as neutral packing, brand packing, eco-friendly packing), or the seller clarifies packaging costs and responsibilities when quoting and confirming the order. Precautions: Order packing requirements must be strictly consistent with the contract and letter of credit, otherwise the bank may refuse payment or the buyer may claim damages; at the same time, transportation safety, customs regulations, and packaging laws of the importing country (such as fumigation for wooden packaging) must be considered. Difference from 'Shipping Packing': Order packing focuses more on meeting the buyer's sales or distribution needs and may include inner packing and sales packing; shipping packing focuses on protecting goods from damage during logistics. Difference from 'Neutral Packing': Neutral packing does not show the origin and manufacturer, while order packing can be neutral or non-neutral depending on the order agreement.
