Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 AM on weekdays to accommodate late-night study. To support this, a small late-night café will open in the library lobby, offering coffee and snacks. Additionally, the university will allocate more funds to expand the digital book collection, reducing physical copy purchases.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm totally against it. Extending hours to 2 AM? That's a waste of money. Most students, like me, finish studying by 10 PM. I never need to stay past midnight. And that café? It'll be noisy and distracting. People will be chatting and eating while I'm trying to focus. It defeats the purpose of a quiet library. Plus, they're cutting back on physical books. I prefer reading from actual books, not screens. Digital copies strain my eyes. They should spend money on more comfortable study spaces instead.
