Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's hours from 10 p.m. to midnight on weekdays starting next month. This change aims to provide more study time for students during midterms and finals. However, the library will reduce the number of available study rooms to accommodate the additional staffing costs.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I'm really excited! I often lose track of time when studying, and having two extra hours will help me prepare for my exams without rushing. Woman: I see your point, but I'm a bit concerned. They're cutting down on study rooms. There are already not enough group study rooms, especially during peak times. I've had to wait for over an hour before. That's going to get worse. Man: True, but I rarely use those rooms anyway. I prefer the quiet floors. And for me, the extra hours are more valuable. I can get more done in the evening when it's quieter. Woman: I understand, but for group projects, those rooms are essential. I think the trade-off isn't worth it. I'd rather they kept the rooms and closed at 10 p.m. as before.
