Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. Man: Really? I'm not so sure. I worry about the cost. They're cutting print journals, and I actually like flipping through physical copies for my research. Woman: I get that, but think about it—most students use online databases anyway. And I know many people, like my roommate, who have part-time jobs and can't start studying until 9 p.m. Those extra two hours are crucial for them. Man: Hmm, I hadn't considered that. But still, what about the noise? Later hours might mean more disturbances. Woman: Actually, the library is usually quietest after 10 p.m. I've stayed late before. Plus, with more digital access, we can access journals from anywhere, even at home. That reduces the need for print copies. Man: Okay, you make good points. I guess the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
