Campus Notice: The university will extend library hours to 24/7 during final exam week, starting next Monday. This change aims to provide more flexible study spaces for students. However, to accommodate this, the library will reduce its weekend hours from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. to 12 p.m.-5 p.m. during the same period.

M: Did you see the library notice about extended hours for finals? I think it's a terrible idea.
W: Really? I thought it would be helpful. Why don't you like it?
M: Well, first, cutting weekend hours is bad. Many students, like me, work part-time jobs on weekdays and can only study on weekends. Now we'll have fewer hours to use the library on weekends, which is when we need it most.
W: That makes sense. But the 24/7 option could help night owls.
M: True, but second, the library is already crowded during finals. Extending hours won't solve that—it'll just spread the crowd, but the real issue is noise and limited group study rooms. The announcement doesn't address that at all.
