Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The administration believes these changes will improve student performance and satisfaction.

Student 1: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a terrible idea. Student 2: Really? I thought 24/7 hours during finals would be helpful. Student 1: Not for me. First, it will cost a lot to keep the library staffed all night, and that money could be spent on more important things like updating the old computers. Second, a quiet floor won't help because most students don't even use the regular floors quietly—they'll just move the noise upstairs, and the extra floor will be just as loud. Student 2: Hmm, I see your point. But I still like the extra hours. Student 1: Well, I'm against it, and I think the school should focus on real issues.
