Campus Notice: The university will be extending the library hours from 10 PM to 2 AM on weekdays starting next month. This change aims to accommodate students who prefer to study late at night. To implement this, the library will reduce its weekend opening hours, closing at 6 PM instead of 10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The administration believes this adjustment will better meet the needs of the majority of students.

M: Did you see the notice about the library hours? I'm pretty unhappy about it. W: Really? I think it's a great idea. I often stay late on weekdays, and having two more hours would help me a lot. M: But they're cutting weekend hours! I usually do all my major projects on Saturdays, and now I'll have to rush to finish by six. W: I see your point, but for me, the weekend is for relaxing or catching up on sleep. I rarely go to the library then. M: Well, I also lead a study group on Sunday afternoons, and we often need the library until eight. This change messes up our schedule. W: That's tough, but I think the new hours are more efficient for most students. The library is packed on weeknights, not weekends. M: I still think it's a bad trade-off. They should have found another way to extend hours without cutting weekends.
