Campus Announcement: New Food Court Hours
Starting next semester, the campus food court will reduce its operating hours on weekends. It will now close at 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays instead of 10:00 PM. The administration states this change will help reduce operating costs and allow staff to have more consistent schedules. They believe most students will not be affected since weekend evening traffic is low.

W: Yeah, I saw it. I think it's a terrible idea. Many students study late on weekends, especially before exams. I often grab dinner around 9 PM after a long library session. Without the food court, I'll have to walk all the way to the off-campus diner, which is expensive and unsafe at night.
M: I agree. Also, what about students who work part-time on weekends? They finish shifts at 9 or 10 and need a place to eat. The vending machines don't offer real meals. The administration says it's about costs, but they're ignoring student needs. We should protest this change.
