Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The administration believes these changes will improve students' academic performance and satisfaction.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's fantastic. I always struggle to find a quiet place to study before exams. The new quiet floor will be a game-changer for me. Plus, having the library open all night means I can stick to my late-night study schedule without worrying about being kicked out. It's exactly what we need. W: I'm not so sure. I mean, 24/7 hours sound great, but the library is already crowded, and adding a quiet floor might just shift the noise to other areas. Also, I heard they're cutting funding for some study lounges in the dorms to pay for this. That's a real downside for students who prefer studying in their own building. M: But the quiet floor will be strictly enforced, and the extended hours will help more students. I think most people will benefit. W: Maybe, but I still think they should have asked students first.
