Woman: Did you see the notice about the library staying open all night during finals? Man: Yeah, but I think it's a terrible idea. First, the main library is already noisy and crowded during the day; at night, it'll be even worse with more students cramming, and I can't concentrate in that environment. Second, I doubt the extra security will help—there have been thefts recently, and I worry about leaving my laptop unattended while I take a break. I'd rather they spent money on more quiet study spaces instead.
