Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours Starting Next Month. To better serve students during finals, the library will extend its hours to 24/5 (Sunday through Thursday) starting next month. This change aims to provide more study space during peak exam periods. However, to accommodate this, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM on Fridays and Saturdays instead of 10 PM.

Student 1 (M): Did you see the announcement about library hours? I think it's a great idea. I always struggle to find a spot during finals week, and having the library open all night on weekdays will be a lifesaver. I can study late without worrying about being kicked out. Student 2 (W): I see your point, but I'm not so sure. They're cutting weekend hours, and that's when I do most of my research and group projects. I prefer studying on Saturdays because I can spend the whole day there. Also, many students have part-time jobs on weekdays, so weekends are their only free time. Reducing those hours just hurts them.
