Notice: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's hours from 10 p.m. to midnight on weekdays. This change is intended to provide more study time for students during exam periods. To fund this, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.

Plus, weekends are usually when I take a break, so I don't mind the library closing earlier on Saturdays and Sundays. Student 2: I see your point, but I disagree. Many of us work part-time jobs on weekends and can only study in the library late on Saturday or Sunday night. Cutting those hours hurts us. Also, extending weekday hours won't help much because most students have classes early in the morning and are too tired to stay past 10 p.m. anyway.
