The administration believes this will better meet student needs during exam periods.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I think it's a great idea. I often study late at night, especially before exams, and the current 10 p.m. closing time is just too early. Woman: I get that, but what about the book budget? Cutting new books by 20% seems drastic. Man: Well, most of our research can be done online anyway. And the library already has a huge collection. Woman: True, but some professors assign specific books that aren't available digitally. Man: I know, but for me, the extended hours outweigh that. Plus, they're adding more digital resources, so it's a trade-off. Woman: I still think it's risky, but I see your point.
