Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's operating hours to 24/7 during finals week, starting next Monday. This change is intended to provide students with more flexible study spaces. Additionally, a new quiet-study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The extended hours will be in effect for two weeks only.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. It might just be a waste of resources. M: But think about it—during finals, many of us stay up late to study. Having 24/7 access means we don't have to worry about being kicked out at midnight. That really helps with my schedule. W: I get that, but the quiet-study floor? It's already pretty quiet. I've never had a problem with noise there. Adding a whole floor just for that seems unnecessary and could be costly. M: Well, I've had times when people were talking or eating loudly, so the new floor would be a relief. Plus, it's only for two weeks, so it's not like a permanent change. W: I still think the money could be better spent elsewhere, like updating the computers.
