Additionally, the university will install new vending machines offering healthy snacks and beverages in the library lobby to support students' late-night study needs.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. The extended hours sound nice, but I doubt many students will actually use them. Most of us already struggle to stay focused after 10 p.m. M: But during finals week, the library is packed even at midnight. I've seen it. Having it open until 2 a.m. would really help those who need extra time. W: Maybe, but what about the vending machines? They're only adding a few, and they'll probably be overpriced. Plus, the healthy options are usually not that tasty. I'd rather bring my own snacks. M: That's true, but the convenience is a plus. I work part-time and often come to campus late. Having a snack option without leaving the library saves time. W: I still think the money could be better spent on more study rooms, but I see your point about the hours.
