The administration believes this change will accommodate students who prefer to study late at night, especially during exam periods. Additional funding will be allocated for extra security and staff. The library will also offer a quiet study floor during these extended hours.

Woman: Did you see the email about the library hours? I'm really excited about it. I often stay up late to study, and having the library open until 2 AM is perfect for me. Man: Really? I think it's a waste of money. Most students don't stay that late, and the extra funding could be used for more books or better computers. Woman: But think about exam weeks! The library is always packed, and many students like me need a quiet place to concentrate at night. My dorm room is too noisy. Man: I get that, but 2 AM is too extreme. Plus, the extra staff and security will cost a fortune. I'd rather see that money go to upgrading the Wi-Fi, which is slow in the library. Woman: Well, I strongly support it. It shows the university cares about different study habits. And the quiet floor will help those who really need to focus. Man: I still think it's unnecessary. Most students won't use it regularly.
