Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's operating hours to 24/7 during finals week, starting from the Sunday before exams until the last day of exams. This change aims to provide more flexible study spaces for students. However, to ensure safety, students must use their university ID cards to enter the library after midnight.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. I always have trouble finding a quiet place to study late at night, especially when my roommates are noisy. This gives me a perfect option. Woman: I agree, but I'm a bit concerned about the ID requirement. What if someone forgets their ID? Man: Well, I think it's a reasonable safety measure. Most students carry their IDs anyway, and it's better than having random people in the building. Also, the extended hours mean I can study in the library instead of the crowded coffee shops, which are too distracting. Woman: True, and it's free. I just hope they don't cut back on daytime hours to compensate. Man: I doubt it. They said it's just for finals week, so I'm all for it.
