Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's opening hours on weekdays from 10 PM to midnight. This change is intended to provide more study time for students, especially during exam periods. The library will also add a new quiet study area on the third floor to accommodate increased demand. Additional funding will be allocated for security and staffing.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's great. I often have to leave at 10 PM when I'm in the middle of studying. Extra two hours will make a big difference. W: I agree, but I'm a bit concerned about the new quiet study area. I usually study in the group study rooms, and they're always crowded. The announcement doesn't mention expanding those. M: True, but the quiet area will help many students who need silence. Also, I heard they'll add more group rooms next year. For now, the extended hours are enough for me. W: I see your point. But I still think they should have focused on group spaces first. Many students work on projects together. Still, I'm happy about the longer hours. M: Exactly. The extra hours are the main benefit. Plus, security will be increased, so I feel safer walking home late.
