Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to the main library. This change aims to accommodate increased student demand for study space during exams and improve the overall study environment.

W: Did you see the announcement about the library changes? I think it's a great idea.
M: Really? I'm not so sure. The 24/7 hours are nice, but adding a quiet floor might cause problems.
W: What do you mean? The quiet floor would give us more space to focus.
M: But the library is already crowded, and students often study in groups, talking and collaborating. If they make one floor completely quiet, group study spaces will be reduced, and that could hurt students who need to work together.
W: That's true, but they can still use other floors. For me, the extended hours are the best part. During finals, I often need to study late, and having 24/7 access means I don't have to rush home.
M: I agree extended hours are helpful, but I've heard that the library won't have enough staff to keep it safe and clean all night. That might lead to noise and disturbances, defeating the purpose of a quiet study space.
W: I hadn't thought about that. Still, I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
