Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The extension will be funded by a small increase in student activity fees.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm really not happy about it. I mean, 24/7 during finals sounds great, but the fee increase is unfair. Most students already have enough expenses, and I rarely use the library at night. Woman: But think about the quiet floor—that could help everyone who needs focused study time. Man: True, but they could just enforce quiet rules on existing floors. Adding a whole new floor seems wasteful. Plus, the fee hike affects all students, even those who never step into the library. Woman: I see your point. So you're against it? Man: Yes, definitely. The costs outweigh the benefits, especially for commuters like me who can't stay late anyway.
