Campus Notice: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its hours to 2:00 AM on weekdays, but will close at 10:00 PM on weekends. Additionally, the library will require students to show their ID cards at the entrance after 8:00 PM. The administration believes these changes will better meet students' study needs while enhancing security.

M: Did you see the new library hours? I think it's a great idea! W: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours on weekdays sounds good, but closing early on weekends is a problem for me. I often do my big assignments on Sunday evenings. M: That's true, but most students study during the week, and the later hours will help those with busy class schedules. Plus, the ID check after 8:00 PM is a smart move to keep the library safe. W: I guess, but the ID check might cause long lines, especially at peak hours. And weekend closing at 10:00 PM is too early for many of us who work part-time on weekends. M: I see your point, but I still think the weekday extension is worth it. Most of my friends are in the library late on weekdays, not weekends. W: Well, I disagree. The weekend hours are more important for me. I hope they reconsider.
