M: Did you see the new library hours? I'm really excited about the 24/5 schedule. As a night owl, I often can't find a quiet place to study after midnight. Now I can stay late on weekdays without worrying about being kicked out. That's a huge plus for me. But the weekend closure is a bit disappointing. I usually use weekends to catch up on readings, and Saturday evenings are my prime study time. Closing at 6 PM on Saturday just doesn't make sense. If they want to save money, why not keep it open late only on Sunday nights when everyone is preparing for the week? I think they made a wrong trade-off.
