托福口语 Task 2

Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise disturbances. The administration believes these changes will better support students' academic success.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's great that they're extending hours during finals. I always pull all-nighters, and the library closing at midnight is so inconvenient. Man: I agree about the hours, but I'm not thrilled about the new quiet floor. I mean, I like to study with friends and discuss ideas. That floor might make it harder to find group study space. Woman: True, but I think the quiet floor is a good idea too. Last semester, I couldn't concentrate because of people chatting. Plus, they're just adding a floor, not removing the group areas. Man: I suppose. But with more students using the library, the quiet floor might get crowded. Still, I'm mostly happy about the extended hours—that's the biggest win.
