M: Well, the regular floors are still there, and you can book group study rooms. Actually, I think the quiet floor is a smart move—it separates those who need silence from those who want to collaborate. That reduces conflicts.
W: I guess that makes sense. But I'm still concerned about the extra cost for security. Do you think the university will cut other services to pay for it?
M: They said they'd use part of the student activity fee, and they're also saving on energy by closing some underused buildings at night. So I doubt they'll cut other services.
W: Okay, I hadn't thought of that. I'm starting to like the idea more. I do tend to study better in a quiet zone.
