M: Did you see the announcement about the library extending hours? I think it's a great idea. I'm a night owl, and the current 10 PM closing is way too early for me. I often have to leave when I'm in the middle of a study session. W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, I get your point, but I'm worried about the safety part. Walking back to the dorms at 2 AM alone feels risky. M: That's true, but they said they're increasing security. Also, I think it'll help students who work part-time during the day. I know many who can only study in the late evening. W: I suppose that's a good point. But I still think most students won't use it, and it might waste resources. M: Actually, I talked to several friends, and they all said they'd use it at least a few nights a week. Plus, having more student assistant jobs is a plus. W: Okay, I hadn't considered that. Maybe it's not so bad after all. But I'd still prefer they invest in more study spaces rather than just longer hours.
