Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours Starting next month, the university library will extend its operating hours to 24 hours on weekdays during the final exam period. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. Additionally, a new quiet study zone will be added on the third floor to reduce noise distractions. The extension will be funded by a slight increase in student activity fees.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. I often struggle to find a quiet place to study late at night during finals. W: I see the benefit, but I'm not totally convinced. The extra fee is a bit concerning. Many students already have tight budgets. M: True, but the fee increase is only a few dollars per semester. It's worth it for the extended hours. Plus, the quiet zone will help me concentrate better without distractions. W: I guess that's fair. But I usually study in the morning, so I won't use these new hours much. Still, I suppose it helps students who work during the day. M: Exactly! And with the quiet zone, even during regular hours, it'll be easier to find a good spot. I'm really looking forward to it.
