The university believes these changes will better support students' academic needs during high-stress periods.

Man: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea, especially the 24/7 hours during finals. Last semester, I had to leave at midnight when I was in the middle of reviewing for my biology exam. Staying later would have helped a lot. Woman: I agree, but I'm more excited about the quiet study zone. The current main reading room is always so noisy with people whispering and typing. A soundproof area with individual carrels would let me concentrate without distractions. Man: Exactly! And with more students staying overnight, those private carrels will be in high demand. It's a smart move to add them now. Woman: Plus, the extended hours mean I can schedule my study time better without rushing. I'm fully supportive of this change.
