Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library's hours to 24/7 during finals week, starting next Monday. This change aims to accommodate students' diverse study schedules. However, to ensure safety and reduce noise, students must show their ID cards to enter after 10 PM, and only the first and second floors will be accessible during overnight hours. The third floor, which houses group study rooms, will be closed from midnight to 6 AM.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. I'm a night owl, and I hate having to leave at midnight when I'm in the zone. Staying until 3 AM would be perfect for me. W: I see your point, but I'm worried about the restrictions. Only the first two floors? That means no group study rooms late at night. My study group usually meets late to work on our final projects together. We would have to find another place, which is really inconvenient. M: True, but for individual study, it's still helpful. And the ID requirement isn't a big deal—we all have our student IDs anyway. Plus, limiting access to two floors might actually reduce distractions, so I can focus better. W: I guess for solo work it's fine. But for group work, it's a problem. Maybe they could at least keep one group room open. Still, I might use the 24-hour option for my solo subjects. M: Exactly!
