M: Did you see the announcement about the library hours and the new study lounge? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. The library extension only lasts during finals week, but what about the rest of the semester? Many of us have projects due throughout the term. M: True, but the 24-hour study lounge is always available, isn't it? That solves the problem for non-finals weeks. W: But the lounge is in the Student Center, which is far from my dorm. I'd have to walk across campus late at night. That's not safe or convenient. M: I see your point. Still, the library extension during finals is helpful since that's when most students need it most. Plus, the lounge reduces dorm noise, which benefits everyone. W: I guess that's true. But I still think they should have extended library hours all semester, not just finals. And the lounge should be in a more central location.
