The university will implement a new policy requiring all students to purchase a meal plan. Starting next semester, students living in dormitories must choose from three meal plan options, while commuter students may opt out. The policy aims to promote healthier eating habits and increase campus dining revenue.

Woman: Did you see the email about the mandatory meal plans? I think it's a terrible idea. Man: Really? I thought it was good for students to have structured meals. Why don't you like it? Woman: First, it's too expensive. The cheapest plan costs over $2,000 a semester, and I can't afford that on top of tuition and books. I usually cook at home to save money. Man: That's true, but what about the health benefit? Woman: The second reason is that the dining hall food isn't that healthy—it's mostly fried and processed. So it doesn't even meet the goal they claim. Man: Hmm, I see your point. Maybe they should offer more flexible options.
