Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours During Finals Week. To better support students during the upcoming final exams, the university library will extend its hours to 24/7 from the Monday before finals through the last day of exams. Additionally, the quiet study floors will be expanded to include the entire third floor to accommodate increased demand. We hope these changes will help reduce stress and provide a conducive environment for all students.

M: Hey Sarah, did you see the announcement about the library staying open all night during finals? That's great, right?
W: Actually, I'm not so sure. I mean, it sounds good at first, but I think it might cause more problems than it solves.
M: What do you mean? More study time is always a plus.
W: Well, for one, I live in a dorm right next to the library. If it's open all night, people will be coming and going at all hours, making noise and keeping me up. I need my sleep to do well on exams.
M: But they're expanding the quiet floors.
W: That's the second issue. The third floor is currently a group study area where students can talk and work together. Moving quiet study there will force group projects to use the noisier first floor, which is already crowded. It'll disrupt the balance for everyone.
