W: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours seems unnecessary. Most students can manage their time well enough.
M: But during finals, the library is packed, and many of us have to leave early when it closes at 10. Extra hours mean we can actually finish our work.
W: I suppose, but who will staff the library that late? It must cost a lot, and the money could be used for more books.
M: True, but the new quiet area is also a plus. The current study spaces are noisy, so having a dedicated quiet zone will help concentration.
W: Well, I still think it's an overreaction. Students should just start studying earlier instead of staying up late.
