I heard they're hiring more security guards, and that money could be spent on more books or better computers. M: That's true, but many students, including me, already pay for off-campus study spaces late at night. The library would actually save us money. Also, security is necessary—I wouldn't feel safe otherwise. W: I see your point. I just worry about the noise and people sleeping there. M: They'll have quiet floors, and I doubt many will sleep. The benefits outweigh the drawbacks, I think.
