Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university library will extend its hours on weeknights from 10 PM to midnight. This change aims to accommodate students who prefer studying late. To fund this, the library will reduce its weekend hours, closing at 6 PM instead of 10 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I'm really not happy about it. Man: Really? I thought it was a good idea—more late-night study time during the week. Woman: But they're cutting weekend hours! I do most of my research on weekends, and on Sundays I often stay until 8 or 9 PM to finish assignments. Now I'll have to leave by 6. Man: I see your point, but I rarely come on weekends. I usually study after my evening classes, so the extra two hours on weekdays would help me a lot. Woman: Well, for me, Friday nights are when I need to focus on big projects, and Saturday is my only free day to use the library's quiet areas. Reducing weekend hours really hurts my schedule. Man: Hmm, I guess it depends on your routine. But I still think the change is overall positive.
