Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during exam weeks. This change aims to provide more study space for students preparing for finals. To accommodate this, the library will reduce its weekend hours during non-exam periods to offset additional staffing costs.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I think it's a terrible idea. Man: Really? I thought it was great—more time to study during exams. Woman: But they're cutting weekend hours the rest of the semester! I always use the library on Sundays to do research for my papers. Now I'll have to go to the crowded campus center. Man: I see your point, but the 24/7 access during finals will help a lot of us who pull all-nighters. Woman: Still, most students don't even use the library late at night. I bet it'll be mostly empty at 3 a.m. But on weekends, it's packed. They're taking away time when we actually need it. Man: That's true, but they say it's to save money on staff. Woman: Exactly—they're just prioritizing a few night owls over the majority. I think it's a bad trade-off.
