Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2 a.m. on weekdays to accommodate students' late-night study needs. M: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I'm not happy about it at all. W: Really? I think it's a good idea. I often pull all-nighters on weekdays for my projects, and the library closing at midnight is inconvenient. M: But cutting weekend hours is a huge downside. I usually go to the library on Saturdays to catch up on readings and write papers. It's the only quiet place on campus then. W: I understand, but you could study in your dorm or a café on weekends.
