Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours on weekdays from 10 PM to midnight. This change aims to accommodate students who prefer studying late. Additional funding will be allocated to hire more student workers and improve security measures during the extended hours. The university believes this will enhance the academic experience for all students.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library hours? I think it's a great idea! I often have to leave at 10 PM when I'm in the middle of a study session. Those extra two hours would really help me finish my work without rushing. Man: Hmm, I'm not so sure. I mean, I understand the benefits, but think about the cost. The university says they'll hire more student workers. Where is that money coming from? Probably from cutting other services, like maybe the shuttle bus on weekends. Woman: But they said they have additional funding, not that they're taking from other budgets. Man: Even so, I doubt many students will actually use the library after 10 PM. Most of my friends prefer studying in their dorms or at all-night cafes. It seems like a waste of resources. Plus, security will be an issue—I don't feel safe walking back to my dorm that late. Woman: I see your point about safety, but I think the extended hours are worth it. For me, it's a real benefit.
