Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's weekday hours from 10:00 PM to midnight. This change aims to support students' late-night study needs, especially during exams. Additionally, the university will allocate funds to increase the number of study carrels on the second floor to accommodate more students.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm really not in favor of it. W: What? I thought longer hours would be great for us. M: Well, I think it's a waste of money. Most students don't stay past 10 PM anyway, and the extra two hours won't really help. Plus, the real problem is the lack of quiet study spaces, not the hours. W: But they're adding more carrels too. M: Yeah, but they're only adding them on the second floor, which is already the noisiest area. I think they should focus on creating more silent zones or soundproof rooms instead. W: I see your point. So you think the money should be spent differently? M: Exactly. The hours aren't the issue, and the carrel location is wrong. They should ask students what we actually need.
