M: First, there's not enough space. They're going to renovate two buildings, but that won't be enough for the incoming class. Many freshmen will end up in crowded rooms, which could hurt their studies.
W: But they're adding more RAs too.
M: That's my second point. More RAs won't solve the real issue—freshmen should have the freedom to choose where they live. Forcing them to live on campus takes away their independence and might make them feel more restricted, not more connected. I think the university should focus on better orientation programs instead.
