Campus Notice: The university will extend the library's hours to 24/5 (Sunday through Thursday) starting next semester. This change aims to accommodate students' late-night study needs and reduce overcrowding during exam periods. However, to fund extended staffing and utilities, the library will reduce its weekend hours from 10 AM-10 PM to 10 AM-6 PM on Saturdays and remain closed on Sundays. The new schedule will take effect January 15th.

M: Did you see the new library hours? I can't believe they're cutting weekend hours! I always do my big research projects on Saturdays. With only until 6 PM, I'll have to rush my work. That's a real problem for me.

M: But what about students who work part-time on weekdays and only have weekends to study? They'll suffer. Plus, the library is the quietest place on Saturdays—I get so much done then.
W: Well, I still think most students will benefit from late-night hours, especially before finals. And they said they'll open more study spaces in the student center on weekends as a backup, so it's not like there's no place to go.
M: Hmm, I didn't hear about that. Still, I prefer the library's resources and quiet atmosphere. I'm not convinced, but I'll try to adapt.
