The university has announced that the campus library will now close at 10 PM instead of midnight to reduce operating costs and encourage students to maintain better sleep schedules. The library will also no longer offer late-night coffee service, but will add a new quiet study wing on the third floor. University officials believe this change will promote student well-being while still providing sufficient study space.

Woman: Did you see the library announcement? I think it's a terrible idea. Closing at 10 is way too early for students who work or study late. Man: I see your point, but maybe it's good to force us to manage our time better. But what about the coffee service? I often rely on it during late study sessions. Woman: Exactly! Without coffee, even if we stayed until 10, we'd be less productive. And the new quiet wing doesn't help because most students prefer group study areas, not total silence. Man: True. Plus, many of us have part-time jobs that end at 9, so we'd lose two whole hours of library time. That's a big sacrifice. Woman: Yes, and the cost savings are minimal compared to the impact on our academic performance. I hope the university reconsiders.
