Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's weekday hours from 10 PM to midnight. This change aims to provide more study time for students, especially during finals. Additionally, the university will allocate funds to add more group study rooms on the second floor to accommodate collaborative projects. The extended hours will be implemented on a trial basis for one year.

M: Did you read the announcement about the library? I think it's great that they're extending hours. W: Yeah, but I'm not so sure. I mean, who really studies until midnight? Most students are done by 10 anyway. And the extra hours will cost money that could be spent elsewhere. M: But see, during finals, the library is packed even at 10 PM. I've had to leave because they were closing. Extra hours would really help then. W: I guess finals are tough, but what about the group study rooms? They're already always booked. Adding more seems unnecessary. M: Actually, that's the second reason I support it. My study group can never find a room. More rooms mean we can actually meet regularly. W: Hmm, I still think it's a waste. But I see your point about finals. M: Trust me, many students will benefit. The trial period will show it.
