M: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open until midnight? I think it's a great idea. I often have late lab sessions, and by the time I get to the library, it's almost closing. Now I'll actually have time to study afterward. Plus, the fee increase is only a few dollars a semester, which is totally worth it for the extra quiet study space. W: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. I mean, most students, including us, have early morning classes, so who's really going to stay until midnight? It might just be a waste of money. Also, the fee increase affects everyone, even those who never use the library at night. I think the funds could be better spent on more popular services, like increasing printing quotas.
