Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during final exam weeks. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added on the third level to accommodate students who prefer a silent environment. The administration believes these changes will better support student academic success.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's great, but I'm surprised they didn't do it earlier. Man: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours is fine, but adding a quiet floor might not be the best use of space. Woman: Why not? Many students complain about noise on the main floors. A dedicated quiet floor would solve that. Man: But there are already study rooms you can book. And the third floor is where the group study areas are. Moving them would disrupt group projects. Woman: Actually, the announcement says they're adding a quiet floor, not removing group areas. I've often had to leave the library because it's too loud to concentrate. This will help me and many others. Man: I see your point, but I think the real issue is that students need more study spaces overall, not just more quiet ones. During finals, every seat is taken, so 24/7 hours won't help if there's no room. Woman: That's true, but at least at 3 a.m., fewer people are there, so it's easier to find a spot. Plus, the quiet floor will encourage more efficient studying. I fully support this change.
