Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 2:00 AM on weekdays during finals week. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The extended hours will be funded by a small increase in student activity fees.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's a great idea. Man: Really? I'm not so sure. The extra fee bothers me—I already pay enough. Woman: But think about it: during finals, I often have to leave at 11 PM when I'm in the zone. The extra hours will help so many students. Man: I get that, but the quiet floor? We already have a silent study area. It seems redundant. Woman: Actually, the existing one is always packed. A new quiet floor would give us more space. And the fee is only $10 per semester—totally worth it for better grades. Man: I suppose. But I still think they could find funds elsewhere, like cutting sports budgets. Woman: Maybe, but this directly benefits academics. I'm fully supportive.
