The extended hours will be in effect from 8:00 AM Monday until 10:00 PM on the last day of finals.

M: Did you see the email about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, who's going to use it at 3 AM? Most students prefer to study in the afternoon or evening. M: But many students have different schedules—some work part-time during the day and can only study late at night. Plus, the dorms can get really noisy, so having a quiet place at any hour is helpful. W: That's true, but I'm worried about the cost. Hiring extra security staff must be expensive.
